It's so great to live in Nobletucky!!

We love our neighbors and have not ever lived in a neighborhood where you feel like family and your kids are all the same age and life is just lived together!! We do bonfires, holidays, hayrides through our neighborhood, baby showers...the works!! One day I was mentioning to my neighbor that I heard the coyotes in our tree line and he said, just let me know next time, I'll be down there with my gun. Of course, I am sure he would love to add to his collection of animal heads displayed in his garage! This is what I love about our neighborhood.
So our neighbors asked us to go the Brickyard this Sunday!! We were so excited to go. Can't say we follow it to know what we are talking about, but really enjoyed it. As we were packing up, we saw the whole street getting their coolers and cars ready to go down to the Brickyard!! We just love our neighbors ;)!!!
Here's some highlights and pics of the day...especially for my cousins in ND who are big fans of the NASCAR racing!!! You guys have got to come down and go with us some time!!
Here's our fellow neighbors Jenni and Joe. They have a 2 yr old boy named Adam and one on the way in January!!!
They got the green flag!!

Pace cars leadin' the pack...
Home town pride...Jeff Gordon. He was fun to watch and had lots of fans!

Tony Stewart talking to I am not sure who...but I knew it was Tony Stewart.

Tony Stewart greeting his groupies...

Jenni and I decided to take a walk a little before the race started and we had no idea who we were seeing. So here we are standing right in front of this guy...just talking and this fan comes running up saying...ROBBIE!!! We stopped and smiled. I took a couple of pictures after I realized that he was a drive...Robbie Gordon.
We sat between the start/finish line and 4th turn. That was pretty incredible to see them round out from the 4th turn full speed.

Tony is the one I cheer for when I watch the races. Dave and I don't watch too many races anymore but would love to see a lively race in person. Hopefully sometime. Was there any crashes?

Ahhhhh, you were that close to us and didn't even come by for a margarita (we work the bar right by the pagoda). Crazy race wasn't it??? One of the weirdest I can remember in the 6 years we've been working it anyway! Maybe someday we'll go with you to actually WATCH a race!!!

Hope you had a good time at the Veggie Tales movie this morning - the girls got here late and I'm swamped in laundry, maybe another time???

Love ya!

You should go to the real race in May if you have never been. It should be on everyone's life list. [Ah]
