Girls!!

I love having girls. Yes, we already argue and have lots of "feelings", but along with that comes a lot of sweet lovin'...in smiles in hugs...
in matching pink bows!!!

in hideouts with Daddy...

in friends from school...
in words...Sophie and I made necklaces and bracelets out of beads and Sophie says, "Mommy, do I look as pretty as Aunt Ninni?"
Quality time together doing crafts and playing games...

helping Mommy...

oh the smiles!!
Sisterly love...Mommy was in the shower and Ada was not having it. So the next thing I know she was quiet. I looked out of the shower to see this...Sophie had taken off Ada's sock and was massaging her foot.

This is the kind of love that lasts forever.

Some Iphone pics

What a great big sissy!!
I've got two daddy's girls now! She LOVES Jason!!!!

Nap time...can you see who fell asleep on the couch in the background?

I love this picture...it's like a paparazzi pic!!
Note Soph's outfit she put together ;)
This is Dad's dream come true (if he could only live at Menards). Soph had Mom and Dad lay down on the mattresses at Menards while she cooked them breakfast in the background!!
Daily Soph loves to go upstairs and surprise us with dressing herself. She's into dresses lately and putting on her own hose. Typically her dresses are her summer ones, so when we go out like the picture above we just layer. Ah the joys of a little girl :)

Ada reached out and Sophie grabbed her hand. I hope this is the way they feel about each other forever!!

Here we are going home from the hospital. We'll always remember this experience with the H1N1 and hospital visitor restriction.
This is their first time meeting one another. It was precious and Ada knows and loves her big sissy. It's so precious. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts. We are back in the newborn stage again and hanging in there!! Enjoying the best Christmas gift ever!!

Halloween Bliss

This year for Halloween when asked over and over what the P wanted to be for Halloween she would say a Fireman. So we happened to have a dress up fireman outfit that Santa brought last year...Score on the costume! She LOVED it. She didn't want to wear her mask or hat, but she wore this coat ALL day!! A picture of the whole outfit and her neighbor friend batman

We went to the Barn on Friday to have a Halloween Playdate. The firegirl invited her neighbor friends (we live by all boys her age). Here are the 3 of them so cute and ready for some fun!

Mommy's neighbor girlfreinds and all the kids...
The parade
A little craft

Oh and her sweet friend, who moved away last spring was there and we found out she moved back last week!!! YEAH!!! We are so excited. Now we need to get them back in class together ;)

Gettin' down with Aunt Ninni

This is her buddy from school and church. Just the day before I asked the P what her favorite was about her lunch (because I thought I packed her a pretty awesome lunch for school). She replied..."Sittin' by the boys". What a treat. She named all 3 of them that she got to sit by. And he was one. She's kinda one of the boys at school and it is so cute to watch them all have fun together!

Gettin' to take a hayride with Uncle Cecil under Grammy's Umbrella. Grammy is the best! She took all her girls in the rain on the hayride!

Our neighborhood has a parade on Halloween where we walk the kids from the pool through then neighborhood to the firetruck. There were so many families and kids there.

We also went back to the McCord Barn for a family and friends Halloween Costume Party. Here we are an oven with a bun in it and the bun maker.

Trick or treat! It was cold but fun!!

Happy Halloween!! I am 35 weeks and countin' down. Which one comes first Thanksgiving or a baby? We'll keep you posted!!

Fall Bliss

I LOVE fall. It's my FAVORITE time of the year and there have been so many things we've been able to do this year to enjoy the beauty!! Although it's been chili, we still have enjoyed the outdoors with some fun activities. My computer is giving me fits, so the pictures are out of order but I'll give you some descriptions of each....
This is my friend Holly. Holly and I grew up together at Northview in youth group and now are having babies together. We are due within a week of one another. She is having a boy and I am so excited for her in this new adventure!!! This is a baby shower at her parents farm in which we ate, sat by a bonfire, took a hay ride, played games...it was so wonderful!! What an awesome way to celebrate such a dear friend and her new bundle of joy. SO here's a belly shot of both of us. I don't have too many of me, mainly because I don't get a ton of pictures of myself taken, but also because I am on of those "carry a baby all over, I feel huge momma's" ;)! So I thought I would share humbly!
This is our annual tradition of Carmel High Homecoming Game. This year it was cold, but oh so fun with the girls. We get fed as alumni and the kids get to run and play next to the football field. Jenni and I both lead high school girls groups with our youth group, so we also had fun cheering them on with the marching band too!! AND Carmel won again ;)!!

We also went downtown Indy for a 2nd cousin's wedding and reception. It was so fun and really beautiful. The P got to dance and that was her "favorite". She loved dancing with the family and that she did. Here's a picture of her and Daddy at the reception site looking at the view and watching a helicopter land.

brothers...cousins

Dancin' with the GG's
Uncle Steve and Cara

Toasting the bride and groom with Papa...except I think they were putting candy in their water and drinking it. Only Papa!!
Jenni thew me a baby shower with some of my sweetest friends and family. We went to Kona Grill and enjoyed great fun, food and friends. It was so wonderful. This baby girl got lots of beautiful outfits and sleepers, diapers, blankets, hats, shoes of her very own!! We were so blessed and so grateful!!

I just love all these girls!!

SO this is the most amazing cake that Jenni made and believe me it was every bit as delicious as it is gorgeous!! It was pumpkin cake with cream cheese icing...I know mouth watering!!! And we ate every single crumb!!

Hay ride with Daddy at the Hilger Farm baby shower.
Papa and his girls and the fire dog ;) at the homecoming game!!
Yeah for fall!! We have a couple more fun outings to come with neighbors and Halloween that I will post. And then.....BABY!!! (I am 33 weeks and it looks like it's going to be a turkey baby ;)
